About Budget Holidays Hub
Budget Holidays Hub is based in the UK. The site is now building a focused library for people coming to Britain: realistic routes, cost-aware choices and the practical details that are easier to notice when you live here.
Why the site is changing
The original site concentrated on cheap holidays from the UK. Those guides remain available, but broad destination summaries are difficult to distinguish from thousands of similar pages. A local UK focus gives the site a more useful job: helping visitors make decisions that can be researched and, over time, checked in person.
What the UK guides will do
- Solve the route first: compare airport, station, hotel and regional choices door to door.
- Show the evidence level: label a guide as locally researched, personally visited or field tested.
- Record useful friction: include luggage, queues, accessibility, weather backups and time lost in transit.
- Use official checks: link changing rules, fares and closures to the body responsible for them.
What “local” does and does not mean
Living in the UK does not create first-hand expertise about every city, coast or national park. We will not imply that it does. Local context helps us ask better questions and makes fieldwork possible; a personally visited or field-tested label is added only when the relevant trip has actually happened.
